I really enjoyed the series of the 30 Day Snap! It got me to commit to blogging frequently and helped me to find some new blogs to follow and read! June also was full of fun moments and I enjoyed finding things each day to photograph!

Day 30. 

Pretty sky tonight! A lovely day spent in Suffolk with family. Reunited with my sweet little cousins too, who I hadn't seen since August! We had a lovely BBQ, numerous games of hide and seek and lots of catching up!

Day 16.

On Sunday, our family friend from Canada arrived from Sweden, bringing us the most delicious fruit tea that tasted a little bit like my favourite Italian tea: Blueberry Cherry which I have not been able to find since getting back home. It reminded me of those afternoons when it was rainy outside and we would sit in the only cafe in the town that had comfy sofas and chat up a storm while sipping our tea. (If you are ever in Cremona, Italy - I highly recommend 'Lord's Cafe' - close to the main square - the staff are friendly, they have nice comfy seats and there are 42 types of tea -what more could you want in a cafe!)

Day 15. 

Last night, I along with my mum and my sister, volunteered for a local hospice event - the 'ladies in the night' and it was so amazing to see all these excited women ready to do something great for charity. I was filming the video for them and it was so great to talk to everyone and hear why they were walking. I really admire them all walking 5 or 9 miles through the night and agree that the work the hospice does is absolutely brilliant. 

This was technically yesterday but it went on until 3am so I think it counts, right?

yesterday's sunset was so beautiful. I love it when the sky is so pretty, a mix of burnt orange, pinks and yellow.

Day 10.

Today was a wonderful day, I spent the morning with my dear grandma, we explored charity shops, chatted each other's ears off and drank copious amounts of tea/coffee.

Then, I got the tube to my friend's town (just outside of London) for an afternoon with her, which involved our usual formula of fajitas for lunch, a twelve mile cycle ride, life affirming chats about anything and a stop in a cute cafe. I love how we can chat about anything be it serious or silly. On our adventures through the woods and countryside, we  came across this house that appears to be made out of matchsticks, looks like something out of a fairy tale, don't you think? I love the way the roses climb up the walls, it looks so mysterious, we were half expecting one of the 7 dwarfs to pop out and say hi.

#9 of the 30 Day Snap | Old Journals and Books.

Day 9. 

I was filming for a video yesterday and it involved a stop motion of putting these books (on the left) and all my old journals (on the right) which was fun to read back through journals dating back to 2003 when I was 8. It's funny to see what I used think was important enough to write about. I also love penguin books :)

#5 of the 30 Day Snap | Banana Bread.

Day 5. 

Today was sunny, I sat outside and read my book and then got some work done and some editing. I also got to reunite with my cousin after 3 months apart and was inspired to make this blueberry and banana bread after I read Rosie's post today and found three brown bananas and some mushy blueberries in the fridge. It was really easy to make and didn't take too long and is nearly all gone, after the family were done!

#3 of the 30 Day Snap | Pretty Street.

Day 3 - it was a day mainly of travelling back to London from Cardiff, so much of it was spent on a national express coach and then a tube. (By the way, I highly recommend National Express for cheap last minute travel - it cost me £20 return for what would have been £61 on the train. And yes, I really like trains but this was definitely a good alternative seeing as it was only a little bit longer than a train would have been.)

Anyway, the coach dropped me at Earl's court and as I was walking to the tube station, I happened to look down a little side street and see this:

A street full of pretty trees, flowers and colourful houses. It just shows that all you 

have to do is look to find something beautiful, (there's a cheesy line.)

#2 of the 30 Day Snap | Cafe from Above.

But, now on to Day 2. I was in Cardiff visiting one of my best school friends who is at university there and it was a lot fun. We had a lazy morning, delicious sandwiches at one of the top 50 cafes in the UK, did a sneaky bit of shopping, drunk quite a bit of tea and explored the bay where Dr Who is filmed. It was pretty cool and lovely to spend time with my friend.

I chose this photo of the cafe we went to, as I like the perspective from the balcony and the way everything is aligned.

The Cafe is called 'The Plan' and is in the arcades in the centre of town, I highly recommend it. It is cosy and quaint yet light and airy and the food is mouth watering and delicious. The service was great too and we loved how big our pot of tea was.

#1 of the 30 Day Snap | Sister.

So, during the month of June, one of my favourite bloggers/people on the internet (Louise at Sprinkle of Glitter) has decided to do a '30 day snap' project where you document a bit of your day, every day for the month of June. I'm all for documenting life and adventures and June is hopefully going to be full of lots of summertime adventures, picnics, and a few celebrations too. So, I thought, why not? Sounds like fun to me and its a great way to keep this blog going now. If you want to find out more about this little challenge then go and read this post on Louise's lovely blog!

So, for Day 1 (I'm already a little behind since I was away for the weekend) was a lovely sunny June day, a perfect start to my favourite month) I got to reunite with my sister (after 2 months of not seeing each other) who also happens to be my best friend in the whole wide world, we wandered around the gorgeous streets of Bristol and had a picnic in a park with stunning views of the city, it was so relaxing and lovely to catch up and chat with Lulu.

I love this picture of my sister, Lulu, and the green trees and sunny day! It felt like the start of summer!
