Video: 2012

this is my year review of 2012. Yes, I realise that it is 2 months late, but better late than never right? 

2012 was the best year yet, for so many reasons and because of so many wonderful people. The olympics came to my city, I finished school, had the most amazing summer, moved to another country, travelled a fair bit, ran races, felt part of so many things and played many games of musical chairs (a family tradition) all while filming, singing and dancing all the way. I'm not saying it was easy, breezy and beautiful....but as years go, this one was pretty spectactular.

Scenes from Mantova.

Mantova was foggy and cold yet beautiful and filled with lots little surprises: ribbons on doors, delicious smelling bakeries, intertwining canals, snow covered greens, house boats and fruit stalls. 

We explored by bike in the morning, stopping to see the lakes and take silly self timer photos, and then we ate the tastiest homemade pasta in a cute little cafe found in one of the back streets, followed by a gelato stop (of course) before a little more cycling, until it got too cold to keep going.
